About the Founders
David and Kristy Petrides
Gearheart Kitchen is the culinary extension of a legacy that started in a garage. Founder David Petrides built Gearheart Industry from scratch — beginning with a lathe, a salvaged broomstick handle, and a belief that well-made tools matter. What began as a one-man operation has grown into a trusted name for custom branding irons, known for precision, performance, and fast, personal service.
When the opportunity came to take that craftsmanship into the culinary world, David and his wife Kristy launched Gearheart Kitchen. With Kristy’s background in marketing and operations, and David’s experience in engineering and machining, the two teamed up to build a kitchen-focused line that carries the same values they’ve always believed in: make it well, make it personal, and make it last.
Together, David and Kristy run Gearheart Kitchen as a family business — proudly American-made, rooted in honesty, and built to help others leave their mark.
